2000 missiles could force global ceasefire call, Iran MP says

Iran could force a ceasefire by launching 2,000 missiles, especially hypersonic ones, in coming nights, lawmaker Ahmad Bakhshayesh Ardestani said.

“If Iran can fire 2,000 missiles—especially hypersonic ones—over the next one or two nights, rest assured that the whole world, including France, Germany, and even Britain, will come and demand a ceasefire,” he said.

Four IRGC members killed in Israeli strike on Urmia base

Four Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) members were killed in an Israeli airstrike targeting the Al-Mahdi garrison in the northwestern city of Urmia, Iranian media reported Sunday.

The slain personnel were identified as Meysam Khalili, Ramin Valizadeh, Saeed Rezaei, and Akbar Fatain.

Earlier, the IRGC confirmed the deaths of seven senior officers from its Aerospace Force, along with General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, in Friday’s Israeli attack on a subterranean military facility.

Explosions and air defense activity reported across Tehran

Reports indicate explosions and air defense engagement in the Saadat Abad and Punak districts of northwest Tehran.

Social media users also reported hearing blasts in the Baharestan area in central Tehran.

The Khabar Online news site confirmed explosions were heard in western Tehran.

A video is being shared on X showing what appears to be a building in eastern Tehran being struck.

'We have not yet hit all intended targets in Iran,' Israeli official says

Israel still has a long list of targets in Iran it has yet to strike, a military official said Sunday.

The remark comes as Israel’s air campaign against the Islamic Republic continues.

The Israeli army reported that since Friday, it has carried out approximately 170 airstrikes, hitting 720 sites across Iran.

Meanwhile, Israel’s Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee is set to hold a closed-door session Monday to review classified intelligence on the ongoing conflict.
